Mission: Israel

Spending a focused two years going after the heart of God as an Intercessory Missionary, one easily encounters the depth of what God desires. One of these desires is that all of Israel would turn back to Him. They are the ones who make up the apple of His eye, and the yearning of His heart. It is my life’s goal to partner with the Lord and to see His desires accomplished here on earth through prayer, worship, and intercession. My heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved (Rom 10:1). For this reason I will be leaving the states and moving to Israel for a length of time, a goal of two years, as a watchmen on the wall (Isaiah 62:6). I will be there to declare His kingdom upon the earth and to shift the spiritual atmosphere of that nation so that many will come to the knowledge of Christ.

Through being a part of the International House of Prayer-KC in ‘07, and the Zadok House of Prayer until now, I have put hour upon hour of prayer for the nation of Israel – it is one of our main prayer focuses. My heart has grown in love for this nation and now the Lord is directing me to move there for a period of time.

My plan is to join the 24 hour worship and prayer center in Jerusalem called Succat Hallel (Hebrew for Tabernacle of Praise. www.jerusalempraise.com) in 2010. I will work there with the ministry to change lives through ministering on worship and intercession sets, through the fine arts department, outreach, and most importantly, prayer.

New York City Intercession

I had the opportunity last week to spend some time in NYC with an intercessor friend of mine. Almost every night I was there, I would sit at the window of our hotel, over looking the city, and my heart would go out to the people there. New York City has one of the highest number of Jewish people in it compared to any other place--no wonder my heart broke for their salvation. I then would pick up my violin and play a song of deliverance over that city.

We went to the United Nations Building and positioned ourselves in intercession there. I played my violin over that area, and my friend also prayed. I feel that we reestablished ancient boundaries and that breakthrough happened as the Kingdom of God was released. There was much more angelic activity as we left--that is a sign that something opened up in the spirit realm.

As we were praying, we looked up and saw a large engraving on a 2 story stone wall with a Bible verse on it:

"They will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, and never again will they learn war." Isaiah 2:4

This verse is talking about when the Kingdom of God comes upon earth in its fullness--just what we were praying! There will no longer be war, but Jesus will reign and teach people how to do practical things like farming and agriculture. This verse written on the wall gave us confirmation that God will break through, and release His kingdom on earth. Praise God!

Student Awakening

Check out the move of the Spirit in Kansas City! I'll be traveling here right after Christmas.

"It will come about after this
That I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind;
And your sons and daughters will prophesy,
Your old men will dream dreams,
Your young men will see visions.
'Even on the male and female servants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.'"
Joel 2:28,29

What People Want

People don't really want to do the extreme like suicide and rebellion, they just want to have the attention of another. We have God's full attention, what are we going to do about that?

Fun Little Song

This was taken on our drive to Ocala for Thanksgiving with my large family -- 60 year reunion we celebrated! There is nothing spiritual in this video, it is good 'ol fun for fun's sake :)

Dream.. The day is coming

I was in a store of some kind with other people when suddenly dark tornadoes started to touch down in the building. I cried out “Jesus! Jesus!” as I normally do when I see tornados because I have seen Jesus walk out of them before.. but these tornados were different, different what I have seen before. They were dark and fearful. They were also not only made up of wind, but of dark smoke. I yelled out to those near me, “Go Low! God Low!” so they would not be killed from inhaling the thick smoke.

I believe that this dream was a picture of the things to come, and they are coming quickly. Christ is returning, and it will be a great and terrible day (Joel 2:31). It will be a day of deep darkness and evil, but the glory of the Lord will rise upon us as we surrender to Him (Isaiah 60:2). It will be a day where God will do justice on the earth, and will even use evil to accomplish His purposes (Rev 5-16). Crazy huh? I believe that is what this dream is all about. The day of darkness is coming, and our response is to cry out “JESUS!” and to humble ourselves before the Lord, to go low. There is only one safe place on this day, to rend our hearts, and to fall on our face before Him (Joel 2). To fall on Christ, the Rock, lest He falls on us. Seek the Lord everyone, while he can be found (Isa 55:6), for the great day of the Lord is coming quickly… who is able to stand? (Rev 6:17)
